Carefully removed from the hillside behind my house and potted, wild california maidenhair fern and bracken.

Hay thanks, I didn't even know what the old rusty thing was. I found it in a pile of trash on the walk back home after collecting the ferns. I liked it's shape and thought it made a nice plant tray, makes me wonder at it's story... How did it make it's way here from Spain to end up in the woods?

Wild ferns moving in close to home... that is so cool... they're beautiful... invite the woods into your yard... I'm really into that idea.. invasion of the ferns...
